This website is a portfolio of some of the web design and development I have done, as well as a few clips of published writing. You will find some explanations of web development concepts and technologies, and how such services can be beneficial.

There are a few templates available as examples of my work. These are free to use for your own sites if you want to, provided you comply with the terms of use and do not remove the copyright information or the footer link.

I can advise on search engine placement and marketing, and write copy designed for a web audience. If you want to be able to update your website yourself even if you have no knowledge of HTML, I can also help you to do that.

The Louth Wargaming Association, one of the largest wargaming clubs in Lincolnshire, needed a club site in order to keep members informed and to attract more members, and also to provide a community focus for their activities. I built a PHP and MySql content management system so they could update it themselves, and styled it based on a design drawn by one of the members.

Stiff Upper List is a custom-built directory of British websites. It includes a search facility, and a submission form with a captcha system and word filtering.

The Freelance Writer's Database provides listings for writers and editors, articles of interest, a system allowing members to send messages to each other, and a search facility. I developed this website, and created a content management system using PHP and Mysql to make it easy to update and administer.

My science fiction website. It uses PHP and MySql, CSS and Javascript. Dynamic elements include quizzes, custom website polls, a search box, and content that only appears at certain times.
